Maya is a Photographer and Creative Specialist who focuses on capturing authentic, non-traditional celebrations. Specializing in LGBTQ+, multicultural, and unique weddings, they bring a fine arts background and inclusive perspective to their work, creating meaningful visuals that reflect each couple’s story while also shaping thoughtful branding elements.
In 2022, Before Zodiac House of Wine was anything more than a whisper to the universe, Maya offered to help with branding. Fast forward to 2026 when their immediate understanding of the vision produced the first tangible piece of Zodiac House, our logo. Maya created our branding suite, drawing inspiration from the bold colors of this space and our vintage Fiesta Ware mugs. Our future wine labels are theirs too, with graphics and fonts uncovered through research into the artwork of our 1971 Wurlitzer Zodiac jukebox. These days you are more likely to find Maya behind a camera capturing love stories as a wedding photographer, so we are forever grateful that she took on our project. Every brand begins with someone who sees it before it exists. For us, that was Maya.
